I removed myself from Facebook this morning, so I am grateful to find you here still. Thank you for this message. It is good to see someone define evangelism the same way I do. I feel humbled by the company.

I really needed this… you remind me that I have to move forward, with a Christlike attitude, not focusing on the dread I feel, but with courage, loving mercy, doing for others while walking humbly, playing lot of Grateful Dead, Billy Strings, Grateful Dawg, Allman Brothers and any music that makes me happy! Peace be with you.

I should have added that if scripture is a course of study, to me the assignment (if evangelism must be invoked) is to love God and to love our neighbor. The syllabus is listed out eloquently in Micah 6:8. I am a simple person. I think Jesus' message to go and teach everything I have taught you is pretty simple, too.

I worked the polls here in California, We were at a performing Arts Center located directly between a High School and a Middle School. I was disheartened to hear the Middle School students proclaiming the praises of the one candidate.

In addition, we had students from both campuses asking what people were voting for and who they were voting for. It is so sad to live in a very purple section of a blue state.

Thank you for your reminder of who and what I am.

Oh my word! All of your words…but the words on evangelism jumped out at my flailing heart. I am thusly encouraged…and validated as that has long been a battle I have had to contend with in my role of compassion by churches dictating how one must go about such. Thank you.

And yes. I may need more diversions during this time of reassessing and refocusing on what matters. Good words here.
