Thank you for your bravery in expressing your political/social opinions. I have not been so brave until the last couple of weeks (look at my recent posts) but when I have shared over the last months, the occasional 1 person (a childhood, church friend) who has taken offense and commented, has had some of my friends speak out in support. I thank them and stay out of any other comments. As a poll-worker in California I am just doing my best to encourage voting,
I will be grocery shopping and lesson planning today. Tomorrow is family day. My neice-in-law is running in a half-marathon then we're heading to my sister-in-law's for burgers and pumpkin carving. I grew up Southern Baptist and am now Episcopalian. Which Baptist tradition are you? I'm guessing American.

ABC-USA, yes. I was ordained at North Shore Baptist Church in Chicago, IL.
Wonderful, yet again!
Wow! That’s a kind thing to say. Thank you.
Our plans?
We've voted.
Northern Virginia.
Straight blue.
Neighbor has a sign, "Vote for life...marriage...religious freedom."
That's what we did: for life...including control of one's own body; for marriage...for everyone; for religious freedom...and against theocracy.
I don't think that's what they meant.
Good for you!
